"Although I was a bit daunted purchasing a side of beef, it was well worth it. The beef this small farm produces is by far the best in flavor and texture that I have ever had in my home. We couldn't believe the difference. The steaks were beautifully marbled, roasts were fork tender and everything was rich and delicious. Even after 9 months in the freezer, last night's steak was as good as last June's. The butcher the farm works with is very patient and cuts the meat anyway you like it. If you are like me, you don't know what you want and are overwhelmed with the choices. He has plenty of suggestions for the first timer. We even got marrow bones to make soup stock all winter and researched new recipes to use unfamiliar cuts and ground beef, which you get a lot of.
If you are considering buying this beef, I hope you will follow through. The stewardship that farms like the Taylor's exhibit needs to be supported by the people in the community. People have lost sight of where their food comes from and often folks don't really know how much pollution, fertilizer, fuel oil and resources it takes to get commercially farmed food to the grocery store. We are not shown the conditions the majority of feed lot cattle live in because we would be outraged. The Bar T Ranch takes proper care of the land and the animals that feed us and we consumers need to take care of our local farmers. Thank you Nature's Beef for providing a fantastic product and for doing so the right way."

"I was raised in the country and my family raised beef for meat (hobby farm, small scale). I have craved the ease of having quality meat that I am comfortable feeding my children, like I had grown with my own family. We ordered a cow and split it with four families we knew last year. None of us were disappointed, the quality was wonderful. Having purchased it ahead and having the main part of a meal on hand with grocery prices fluctuating was such a blessing. If money was tight, I could defrost a roast or whatever we were in the mood for and I only needed to add the sides. The meat has been excellent in flavor and quality and Glen at Northwest Meat Processing did a wonderful job helping me choose how to have the meat cut and the way they package it is excellent for freshness. I have no hesitation in recommending Nature's Beef and Bar T Ranch. Our family is splitting a whole cow this year - our experiment last year is going to continue to be a healthy way of life."

I recommend this beef to everybody I meet, because it is truly the most delicious and healthy beef I've had. We know Richard personally as a good friend, so I feel very confident in saying you can trust that the beef is the highest quality you will find. I ran out of beef before my next order was ready and we just didn't eat any beef until we got more! You will be suprised how spoiled you get from Richard's beef.
